Event Overview
King of the Reed 2025 is a two-day online Pro-Am tournament bringing together 32 of the top traditional NBA 2K Pro-Am teams to compete for a $5,000 prize pool. Featuring a triple-elimination bracket and a high-stakes Championship Sunday with semifinals and a best-of-3 Grand Final, this event is powered by the community and broadcast live to showcase elite competition at the highest level.

Streaming Guidelines

At least one player from each team is required to stream all matches
-
All overlays, stream alerts, and custom graphics must be removed

Streaming accounts must be registered with UPA staff at check-in for each day of the tournament

All official matches will be broadcast via twitch.tv/unifiedproam

Championship Sunday: All matches must be streamed using UPA-provided burner accounts. Streaming from personal accounts will result in an automatic forfeit
Roster Requirements
Minimum Roster Size: 5 players
Roster Lock: Rosters are locked following registration
Roster Changes:

Standard changes are allowed until the start of bracket play on Saturday

After bracket play begins, all rosters are considered final

Emergency substitutions may be approved on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a premium fee

All changes must be submitted to and approved by UPA tournament staff

Rules & Conduct

All players must have an active Unified Pro-Am Association (UPA) account

Only players listed on the submitted roster may compete

GamerTags/PSN IDs must match the registered roster

All matches must be played in 5v5 Pro-Am Private Matchmaking

Teams must be present and ready to play at all scheduled times. Failure to do so may result in an automatic forfeit. Repeated offenses may result in removal from the tournament

Playing with a player who is not officially registered to your team’s submitted roster will result in an immediate forfeit and may include a fine
-
Any form of dishonesty—such as a player competing under another person’s account or intentionally attempting to deceive tournament officials—will result in disciplinary action, including forfeiture, removal from the tournament, and potential suspension from future UPA events
