Event Overview
The UPA Cup 2025 is a two-day online Pro-Am tournament bringing together 64 of the top NBA 2K Pro-Am teams to compete for a $3,500 prize pool. The event features a single-elimination bracket with all rounds played as best-of-three series. The top four teams advance to Championship Sunday, where they’ll battle in best-of-five series to determine who will be crowned the 2025 UPA Cup Champion.

Competition Format

All teams must be checked in on time with their fully registered roster and ready to play.
64 teams compete in a single-elimination bracket (best-of-3 series).
The top 4 teams advance to Championship Sunday.

Date: Sunday, November 16, 2025
Check-in: 6:30 PM ET
Start Time: 7:00 PM ET (subject to bracket pacing)
All teams must be checked in with their registered roster and ready to play.
Semifinals & Finals: Best-of-5 Series to determine the 2025 UPA Cup Champion.
Streaming Guidelines

At least one player from each team is required to stream all matches.

All overlays, alerts, and custom graphics must be removed.

Streaming accounts must be registered with UPA staff at check-in each day.

All official matches will be broadcast via twitch.tv/unifiedproam.

Championship Sunday: All matches must be streamed using UPA-provided burner accounts. Streaming from personal accounts will result in an automatic forfeit.
Roster Requirements

Minimum Roster Size: 5 players

Roster Lock: Rosters lock following registration
Roster Changes:

Standard changes allowed until the start of bracket play on Saturday.

After bracket play begins, all rosters are considered final.

Emergency substitutions may be approved case-by-case (subject to premium fee).

All changes must be submitted to and approved by UPA staff.

Rules & Conduct

All players must have an active Unified Pro-Am Association (UPA) account.

Only players listed on the submitted roster may compete.
-
GamerTags / PSN IDs must match the registered roster.

All matches must be played in 5v5 Pro-Am Private Matchmaking.

Teams must be ready to play at scheduled times or risk forfeit.

Competing with unregistered players will result in forfeit and possible fines.

Any form of dishonesty (e.g., account sharing or deception of officials) will result in disciplinary action, including forfeiture and suspension from future UPA events.
