Unified Pro-Am Association Welcomes the College Division
Expanding Horizons in Competitive Gaming
WHAT IS THE UPA?
Founded in 2015, Unified Esports Education & Entertainment, doing business as the Unified Pro-Am Association (UPA), is a non-profit organization.
UPA is a community-driven initiative dedicated to creating a supportive environment for at-risk youth and young adults with an interest in gaming. Our mission is to educate and provide a platform for future esports professionals, including players, commentators, tournament organizers, influencers, and content creators. Our events foster personal development and a sense of belonging, particularly for those who may not be outgoing, athletic, or financially privileged. We aim to keep participants engaged in gaming and off the streets.
UPA hosts weekly in-person and virtual competitions. Our events have attracted over 30,000 participants from more than 50 countries across six continents, showcasing the highest level of amateur NBA 2K competition.
Furthermore, UPA serves as a feeder for the professional NBA 2K League, with many rookies honing their skills at UPA before making their professional debuts.
